John Gillon – Chair of the Kaipatiki Local Board

John Gillon

John Gillon has been a member of the Kaipātiki Local Board since the formation of Auckland Council in 2010, and since March has been the chair of the Board.

He enjoys photography as a hobby, and spends time documenting the many green, open spaces in our area. He also administrates several local Facebook community groups, helping to connect and inform the community on council and local issues.

 

Phil Fogle – professional photographer

Phil FoglePhil is a professional photographer with many years experience.

His early career centered around magazine and fashion photography, while his more recent work include Corporate story-telling and portraits.

A collection of his early photographs of Susan Holmes’ work were collated in 2016 for the book Susan Holmes, Fabric Artistphilfogle.com

 

Campbell Hegan – artist and Trustee of the Kaipatiki Public Arts Trust

Campbell HeganAfter an early career in theatre and television, Campbell Hegan became a full-time ceramic artist in 1972. He has written extensively on the arts for press and television.

For a decade he was Director of the Sturt Centre for Australian Craft and Design in NSW. He maintains his arts practice and is a consultant curator and teacher in the applied arts.
