James Frankham
We are pleased to welcome James back to our team of judges this year. He is the publisher of New Zealand Geographic, NZGeo.com former editor (2008–2017), and a contributor since 2005 in writing and photography and director of the New Zealand Virtual Reality Project.
Prior to this James spent 15 years as a professional photographer and filmmaker.
Jude Turner
Jude is a new judge on our team and we are pleased to have her on board. She is the owner of the homeware shop Cravehome (cravehome.co.nz), in Birkenhead Village and Chair of the Birkenhead Town Centre Association.
Jude has always had an eye for homewares, home decor, and design.
Lloyd Macomber
We warmly welcome Lloyd to our judging team this year. He is a registered architect and director of well-known heritage architectural firm Salmond Reed Architects (salmondreed.co.nz). When not working on NZ’s lovely old bones, Lloyd is out and about with a camera or singing and drumming in two North Shore bands.
Lloyd was a winner in the inaugural Birkenhead Photo Competition in 2018.
